My freshman year at Lamar University I was a member of the University’s cheer squad. With the squad I went to NCA Camp at Southern Methodist University, cheered at football and basketball games and other university events, traveled to football playoffs in Iowa, and spent spring break at the Southland Conference basketball tournament.
